  1. Bullet Review Reading and finishing this series is kinda bittersweet for me I ve basically been reading Star Wars nonstop since I first saw the movies in 1997 I would read ANYTHING with the Star Wars logo There was a time that I could SW EU you like a boss And I read loads of non adult Star Wars books Jedi Apprentice, Jedi Quest, Junior Jedi Knights, Young Jedi Knights, Galaxy of Fear.Finishing Last of the Jedi, I realize I m not the same woman who read all those books years ago almost 20 WTF I [...]

  2. The story resolves itself, but it is slightly unsatisfactory as none of these characters have appeared in the other Star Wars EU story lines They existed in this between trilogies saga and then they vanish as if they never were.

  3. The final instalment in the Last of the Jedi series, and it finishes it off very well The group try to get all the rebellion leaders to meet, and finally, find out who the spy is There is also a subplot involving Darth Vader and his real identity This is a real page turner, no one is safe On the bright side, the author finishes off each characters story arc really well I particularly liked what happened to Feris A really good read.

  4. Sad ending to a great story After reading all 10 books, this ending sucked The loss, the just wasted ending I loved the characters and to see them meet these endings especially how Ferris and Trevor end was disheartening.

  5. I didn t see on the book what number of the series it was but I see here is is 10 and I am guessing the last based on the ending

  6. Really enjoyed this whole ten book series, it ended in a very satisfying way, that connects well with the original trilogy The series is set chronologically in the period between Revenge of the Sith A New Hope in the Star Wars universe Of course, we know Darth Vader won t be killed And Ferus Olin, the main character, never appears in any of the Star Wars movies, so one thing I was looking forward to is learning his fate as a character I don t want to spoil it, so I ll just say that it works, mes [...]

  7. Ferus knows that Vader is Anakin and he s angry at Obi Wan for keeping multiple secrets from him This makes him amicable about drawing from the Dark Side At some point he opens a Sith holocron, terrifies Ry Gaul and Trever, and lets the darkness take over It helps him understand Vader , but at a cost.Vader, for his part, is infuriated with the fact that Jenna Zan Arbor has suffered memory loss He s determined then to take out Ferus, and eliminate that part of his past Astri and Clive see Vader [...]

  8. Alas The final book in the series sadly suffers from the worst cover art But, fortunately, that does not hinder the story A fantastic, fantastic finale The wrath of the Empire comes down hard, and Ferus and his friends are inevitably caught in the fray A very smart move by Watson, making Olin s final confrontation with Vader as much an internal battle as an external one There is, also, a strange kind of full circleness at the end of the story, with the evolution of Ferus bringing something of a [...]

  9. Garen Muln has been a favourite of mine since he was first introduced in the Jedi Apprentice series I felt SO DAMN LUCKY that he d survived Order 66, so the ending of this book just GUTTED me Ah, my poor childhood And poor everyone else this book ended darkly, darkly than I expected a YA easy read book to end, but I enjoyed it all the same Still though, not getting over Garen s death for a while.

  10. An appropriate and very fitting ending to a great series. This author consistently does a great job with the movie characters She took each of them in a direction that made a lot of sense and stayed true to their characters.
