  1. Both my son and myself agree that this one was the best so far We both loved the idea of a kids mystery weekend and using the adults as the suspects We also loved the fact that Maisys best friend is along for the ride They have to work together as a team to solve the mystery within a mystery This one was also a little spookier than the rest, which my son got a kick out of He loved finding out if the manor was realy haunted or not In all, this series is a lot of fun It s well written and develope [...]

  2. How do you solve a problem like Maisy Well, you put on your brand new trench coat, don your trademark fedora, and proceed to show everyone around you just why you re the coolest, smartest nine year old detective today.I have read all three stories in Elizabeth Woodrum s Maisy Files, and I ve loved them all How can anyone not love Maisy, the stalwart preteen with a keen intellect that s matched only by her love for cherry lollipops. In this installment, Maisy s parents have treated her to a family [...]

  3. When you were in the fourth grade, wouldn t it have been amazing to go on a detectives retreat with your family Maisy is one lucky kid Her parents bring her and her best friend, Veronica, to a mysterious, large house where other kids have gathered with their family It s all a game There s been a crime and the junior detectives must interpret the clues and interview suspects their parents to solve it But that isn t the only mystery of this house There s something odd going on and Maisy is going t [...]

  4. I loved this fun lower grade mystery Maisy is too cool with her cherry lollipops and detective s heart I especially loved the mystery within a mystery and the use of modern technology in the case really made it stand out in a good way from my favorite childhood mysteries The writing is solid, the characters strong, and the story fun If the Mystery Manor were a real place, I would so be booking a vacation there

  5. Review originally posted on The Book Adventures of Annelise Lestrange I received this copy from Lola s Blog Tours in exchange for an honest review Let s go D BlurbSuper sleuths will be thrilled to know that everyone s favorite fourth grade detective is back with a double dose of mystery adventure As Maisy participates in a mystery weekend event for junior detectives, she uncovers a real case Could a ghost be haunting Mystery Manor Find out in the exciting third installment of The Maisy Files The [...]

  6. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Why I read it After reading the first novel, Maisy and the Missing Mice and the second, Maisy and the Money Marauder, I jumped straight into the third book My Thoughts This time, Maisy is on school holidays and her parents have a treat for her They are off to attend a family weekend at a Mystery Manor, where a crime is staged All the adults are suspects and the k [...]

  7. This one was a much better mystery and it has Maisy at a junior detective event She ends up uncovering than she was suppose to as she investigates This time her friend Veronica is with her as she is starting to get the detective bug since she sort of helped with the case in book two.Not only do they have the case of the missing Tiara, but is the manor really haunted or is someone wanting everyone to think there is a ghost I really enjoyed this one and I just adore Maisy Can t wait to see what o [...]

  8. Maisy is at it again, this time it s at the Mystery Manor This was a very entertaining read and I was lucky enough to get an AR copy Maisy joins her parents and her friend Veronica at the Mystery Manor It s similar to a Murder Mystery party where someone dies and you have to discover the killer except the children are junior detectives and the adults are suspects Also, instead of a pretend murder, there s a pretend thief who steals a tiara Maisy teams up with her friend Veronica to find the thie [...]

  9. Maisy is spending a weekend in a mystery manor Talk about a dream come true for this savvy, little detective The whole weekend would be a play with the adults as actors What a fun game But, of course, this wasn t a real case like the missing mice or the stolen money But kids would enjoy the mystery.

  10. I won this book on I began reading it to my granddaughters ages 5 and 8 one afternoon I read two chapters and we went on to something else We didn t find it very interesting It was rather slow moving I gave it to the 8 year old and haven t heard anything about it.
